2009 Beneficiaries

In Memory of, Cynthia Fleming (8/3/75 - 7/24/11)

Children: Alex and Sammy (girl)
She used to be a clown, which is so suitable for her. She had a warm and fun loving personality!

This year a 32-year-old single mother of two with breast cancer will receive funds to help pay her bills. She has been fighting breast cancer for sometime, but unfortunately it has returned and spread to her bones and lungs. Her additional wish is to see and/or meet Ricky Martin or Ellen Degeneres.

Follow Up:
Cynthia Fleming’s wish was to have her bills paid and to meet Ellen Degeneres. Charity for Charity paid 1 months worth of bills and had 2 VIP Ellen tickets with limo by Majestic Ride Limousine and dinner at Ruth Chris paid for by Majestic Ride day scheduled. Unfortunately, Cynthia was unable to go on the scheduled day due to feeling ill. We rescheduled the limo and dinner for a date that worked for her and since ELLEN was on hiatus, Cynthia opted to take the limo to Medieval Times with her family. We are working to reschedule ELLEN now that she is filming again.

Tallon Olives
The second recipient is a 4-year old boy diagnosed with Langerhans disease. He has been undergoing chemotherapy since July and has had to stay home from school since then, but with his mother quitting her job to care for him. He misses his teachers and friends, but has remained in great spirits. His wish is for a superhero party for him and his friends and a trip to Disneyland for he and his family.

Follow Up:
Tallon Olives wish was to have a Super Hero’s party with his friends and go to Disneyland with his family. Tallon’s wish was fulfilled! Our friends at Pump It Up donated it’s facility, The Mill donated pizza, Rebeka Jager and friend came as Wonder Woman and Incredible Hulk and Charity for Charity purchased every super hero item sold in WalMart, Target and Toys r Us! Tallon had a blast with all of his friends and enjoyed all his gifts!

Charity for Charity also granted an all expense paid 5 day trip to Disneyland, Universal Studios and Knotts Berry Farm with meet and greets with their superhero’s!
